Het ANP (Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau) heeft met veel content-afnemers van de mainstream media de afspraak om na drie maanden de content te verwijderen.
Daarom zullen veel links op gegeven moment 'leeg' zijn.
Op 28 maart 2018 werd het ANP overgenomen door het commerciële Talpa Network. Vlak daarna neemt het ANP fotobureau Hollandse Hoogte over.
Ook kiezen sommige nieuwsbronnen plots voor een andere dataopslag (o.a. Het Parool) waardoor links niet meer werken.
